About

Our History

Rhodes Glass was founded in 2006 by Vic Rhodes and his brother Mike Rhodes. They are third generation glazers with over 35 years of experience! They felt after many years it was time to expand the family business and offer Asheville a glass company to meet the ever changing pace that is Asheville.

In the last ten years Rhodes Glass has grown from 2 men and a truck to 4 trucks, 3 owners and has employed many individuals from the community. With knowledgeable employees we are able to offer you a variety of products and services with quality work to meet and exceed your satisfaction. We believe in building strong and lasting relationships with all customers because what better reference does someone have, and then word of mouth!

Rhodes Glass throughout their growth has never backed from its tradition of quality work for both commercial and residential customers alike. We strive to be your glass company for many years to come!

Meet The Owners…

Vic

Vic started glazing when he was 16 years old with his dad, Paul. After graduating from Enka he went into the family business, being a 3rd generation glazier. Over the years Vic worked with other glass companies in the area and built a reputation and relationships that have carried him to where he is today. In 2006, he decided it was time to make it on his own. With the help of his brother Mike, together they founded Rhodes Glass Co.

Mike

Mike, better known to some as 'Grasshopper' is also a graduate of Enka High School. After graduating he started working at Blue Ridge Paper in Canton. Still helping glaze on the side. After retiring from Blue Ridge (formally Champion) after 30 years, he joined with his brother and together they have built even stronger relationships and grown Rhodes Glass into what it is today.

Heath

In 2010, Rhodes Glass was ready to expand. Heath Blankenship, brother-in-law to Vic had been working with us for quite some time and had picked up on the family business. At which point Heath, also a graduate of Enka became another owner of Rhodes Glass Co. We were thrilled to have another owner and to keep our business family owned!
